How to Build Your Mini Mossarium
Follow these simple steps to create your mini moss world.

Step 1 — Add River Stones
Add a single, even layer of river stones at the bottom.
Keep it shallow so there’s enough room for the layers above.
Use the wooden tool stick to gently spread them flat.

We’ve included extra amounts of each material, so you don’t need to use everything — feel free to design it your way.

Step 2 — Add Sphagnum Moss
Place a thin layer of sphagnum moss over the stones.
Use the spoon or tool stick to press it down gently.

Step 3 — Add Soil Mix
Spread the soil evenly to form your base.
You can keep it flat or shape it into a little slope — make it your own design!
(If you’re in the U.S., you can skip this step — just place the moss right on top of the sphagnum moss layer.)

Step 4 — Place Moss
Arrange the moss in whatever way you like — you can keep it whole or break it into smaller pieces to shape your design.
Press it down softly so it stays in place — no need to be perfect, just have fun with it!

Step 5 — Decorate
Add your figurines and pebbles to complete your little world.
If you’re using your own decorations, make sure they’re clean — a quick rinse or wipe with a damp cloth is enough.
(Avoid alcohol or harsh cleaners, as they can harm the moss.)

Step 6 — Water & Finish
Lightly mist until the soil and moss both look evenly moist.
You’ll notice the moss turning a richer green as it hydrates — that’s when it’s happy.
Close the lid, and your tiny mossarium is ready to enjoy.
